This policy explains how Career and Educational Services Limited (“CareerEdu”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data, in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Who we are

CareerEdu is a trading name of Career and Educational Services Limited, registered in England and Wales, company no. 13378106. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Registered office: c/o AACSL Accountants Ltd, 1st Floor, North Westgate House, Harlow CM20 1YS.

Data we collect

  • Waitlist and contact details: name (optional), email address, and the interest you select (Co-Pilot, Scholarship Radar, or general), when you submit a form on this site.
  • Store orders: if you purchase a service, your order is handled by our online store and payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). We receive order details needed to deliver the service; we do not store your full payment card details.
  • Basic technical data (such as IP address and country, where available) used for security and abuse prevention, for example rate-limiting form submissions.

How we use your data

  • To respond to waitlist sign-ups and contact enquiries.
  • To deliver services you have purchased.
  • To send updates about the service you joined the waitlist for, which you can opt out of at any time.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse (for example, spam form submissions).

Retention

We keep waitlist and contact data for as long as needed to respond to you or provide the service you asked about, and delete it when it’s no longer needed, or sooner on request. Store order records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@careeredu.co.uk.

Third parties

We use third-party providers to operate our store and process payments, including Stripe and PayPal. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
