For Bachelor’s Scholarships,the duration is 2 to 4 years.
For Master’s Scholarships,the duration is 1.5 to 2 years.
For Doctoral Scholarships, the duration is 4 years.
Benefits:
- You will be exempt from paying the tuition.
- A monthly stipend of HUF 43 700 will be provided to you as a bachelor’s or master’s level student for the entire year until you have earned your degree.
- If you are a doctoral student, you will be provided with a stipend of HUF 140 000 per month for the entire year until your doctorate is earned.
- You can choose to receive assistance finding a dorm room or a monthly payment of HUF 40 000 as a housing allowance.
- Services for medical care will be provided in accordance with Hungarian Legislation Act Number 80 of 1997.
- Each year, one person receives additional medical insurance worth up to HUF 100000.
Eligibility requirements for 2023 are:
- Must not be a citizen of Hungary.
- Not be a current or former recipient of a Stipendium scholarship.
- Candidates from nations that qualify may submit an application.
- Candidates for a bachelor’s degree are required to hold a secondary school diploma.
- Candidates for master’s degrees are required to hold a diploma.
- A master’s degree is required for applicants for doctoral degrees.
- Excellent-record holders are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply:
- The applicants must submit their applications online via the Tempus Public Foundation website.
- After registering, you will receive a special applicant access code.
- You must first choose the University of Pecs, followed by the study program at the University of Pecs; a total of two study programs may be chosen.
- Don’t forget to select English as your language of instruction.
- Give us all of your personal information, such as your name, email address, postal code, birthdate, religion, and phone number.
- Fill out all the necessary fields.
- The application must be saved after being submitted to the website.
- You must apply through the sending partner of the country with which you are associated after submitting your application on the Tempus foundation website.
- You must accept the application statement in order to apply using the online system.
Candidates who have been nominated will be contacted by May 30th, 2023.
Up until July 15th, 2023, the chosen candidates will receive their letters of admission and award.
