Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Associate Project Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in overseeing and driving the successful implementation of various projects.
Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Salary: 300,000-400,000 (Net)
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Responsibilities
❖ Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule.
❖ Develop and execute on newly identified project opportunities from the Business
Development Manager from proposal development, to scope development, to project implementation.
❖ Work closely across multiple functional areas (project management and engineering) to execute your projects.
❖ Ensure compliance with standards, processes, and policies;
❖ Maintain effective communication and structure within the company;
❖ Develop priorities with budgetary limitations; approving monitoring the expenditure of funds; Develop a budget based on an analysis of needs and the awareness of available resources
❖ Liaise closely with the team and provide expertise for successfully deploying scalable digital solutions;
❖ Understand the business background, issues, and implications of the specific solution being addressed;
❖ Identify operational problems and work with teams to resolve them through planned proactive activities.
❖ Drive internationally accepted standards of processes and procedures;
❖ Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
❖ Work with the Engineering team to carry out requirements gathering for the software Development process that involves interacting with clients and identifying features and functions required for the solution to be developed and deployed.
❖ Managed projects and ensure effective turnaround time.
❖ Meet and strategize with various department heads to look at the integration of systems across the company;
❖ Outline the dependencies and skills required to deliver projects;
❖ Perform any other assigned responsibilities.
Qualification and Experience
❖ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project management or a related field is a mandatory requirement. A Master’s Degree is considered an added advantage.
❖ A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in project development and project management, demonstrating clear expertise in handling projects of different types with ample experience in IT Industry.
❖ Proven track record of successfully developing and executing partnerships, showcasing the ability to foster collaborative relationships.
❖ Have exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills to ensure effective interaction with both clients and team members.
❖ Strong written and verbal communication skills, underlining the capacity to articulate ideas and information clearly.
❖ Solid organizational skills, characterized by meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
❖ Proven capability to think strategically and creatively, identifying new business opportunities.
❖ Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
❖ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Project Management.
