Job Summary
We are looking to hire housekeepers to join our cleaning team. You will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness.

Job Description

  1. Cleaning guestrooms and other areas in the hotel premises.
  2. Making beds, and straightening desk items, furniture and appliances.
  3. Replacing dirty linens and towels.
  4. Restocking guest room amenities like toiletries.
  5. Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs or damage.
  6. Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
  7. Sweeping, and mopping floors.
  8. Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
  9. Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
  10. Collecting and disposing of trash.
  11. Assisting guests when necessary.
  12. Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
  13. Upholding the hotel’s confidentiality and security standards.

• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well unsupervised.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Minimum of High school diploma (SSCE).
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
• Listening skills.
• Honesty and integrity.
• High energy level and a hard worker.
• Resident along Idimu/Ikotun axis is preferred.
• No family ties with any member of staff.
• Not more than 25 years of age.
• Should be able to work shift based and on weekends.
