Since founded, we continuously expand global network, develop and optimize products, improve customer experience, and introduce IT technologies and equipment to realize automatic operations.

Currently, we are building a local and cross border service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and emerging markets. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and emerging markets while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers.

Job Position: Quality Control Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Quality Control Manager will oversee the development and implementation of quality control strategies to optimize operational processes, maintain compliance, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position focuses on ensuring the highest level of quality, safety, and efficiency in Speedaf logistics operations.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy that aligns with the company’s overall objectives, evaluation of QC processes and methodologies in the logistics industry best practices.
  2. Lead and manage a team of quality control associates, data analysts and coordinate special projects process improvement projects to enhance service delivery.
  3. Formulating and implementing quality frameworks and standard operations procedures (SOP) across all Speedaf Logistics functions and departments.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships to drive quality improvements throughout the supply chain.
  5. Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track quality metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Identify and mitigate risks related to quality and compliance, proactively addressing potential issues.
  7. Work closely with customer service teams to address quality-related concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, quality control and management roles, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
  4. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and business intelligence and reporting such as Excel, PowerBi, Tableau, SQL, Python etc.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  7. Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ or ISO).
