Job Overview
We are looking for a porter, who would work as a part of a team to preserve a clean and tidy environment throughout our facilities. These critical roles help to support our prideful work environment and the delivery of high quality products to our customers.
Job Description
• Provide prompt and friendly customer service when interacting with supermarket guests
• Perform general cleaning tasks including but not limited to: dispose garbage, and sweep
Load and unload store delivery trucks
• Assist store teams with inventory maintenance
• Assist with store merchandising and layout as needed
• Additional job duties may include retrieving shopping carts, returning unwanted merchandise to store shelves, and directing customers to product locations
Qualifications for Porter
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to work both independently as well as with a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, lifting, carrying, push/pull weight
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
