Operations Graduate Intern (NYSC) at OVERWOOD
Responsibilities
Assist in data gathering/data extraction from system data to perform analysis.
Propose workflow to better enhance productivity and efficiency.
Support in documentation of work procedures and creation of possible dashboards to monitor task activities and progress.
Work with assigned manager to review the existing intermediary information database.
Assist with cash/bank/investment reconciliation processes.
Assist with Accounts Payable / Accounts receivable functions to ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by Finance Operations Manager.
Work closely with colleagues in business units and participants & issuers to meet business requirements.
Participate in the ongoing effort to improve on the systems and processes to handle new requirements.
Assist in updating of standard operating materials to document operational end-to-end process flows.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
Majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
Strong interest in exploring a career in Finance.
Analytical and a natural problem solver.
Able to collaborate across teams, but also work independently.
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proactivity and self-direction.
Interpersonal skills.
