A company into importation of chemicals is looking to recruiting a Warehouse Officer with experience managing financial accounts and inventory of manufacturing, retail, logistics or warehousing organizations in Nigeria.
Job Summary: The Warehouse Officer is responsible for planning and implementing warehouse processes, operations and technology.
*He/she is also responsible for developing plans to monitor storage utilization levels, managing warehouse facilities, reviewing operational quality and efficiency of warehouse storage and layout plans.
The ideal candidate must be analytical and logical, S/He is required to explore solutions and analyze the feasibility of plans. S/He is also expected to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology.
Key Requirements:
*A Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
With a minimum work experience of 2 years.
*Experience working in manufacturing, retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar roles.
Knowledge of accounting software e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, cloud computing, etc.
*Strong experience with excel and other Microsoft office packages.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent problem-solving abilities.
*Demonstrate a strong ability to manage financial and accounting books.
*Track all receivables and payables & manage inventory with one software.
*Trustworthy & honest with an impeccable character/attitude.
