Job Summary:
The System/Network Administrator will oversee and support the day-to-day operation of computer systems and networks throughout the organization, ensuring reliable performance and data integrity in Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and organization intranets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Configures and installs Network and Operating Systems
- Ensures networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures.
- Monitors System Performance
- Provides user technical support
- Conducts Data Backups
- Oversees Backend Infrastructure
- Enhance server and system performance
- Monitors and analyses network load traffic and utilization trends
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of networking protocols, LAN networking, and WAN networking.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field required
- At least two years of experience with LAN and WAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems, topologies, and protocols required.
- A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications are highly preferred.
