Job Summary: The Head of Sales would be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for the organization. He/ She will be accountable for setting sales targets, developing sales strategies for selling products and services, managing the sales team, and ensuring that the organization achieves its sales objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy
  • Set ambitious sales targets and ensure they are achieved
  • Drive the sales goals and achievement to impact the business bottom-line
  • Manage and motivate sales team to achieve their individual and team targets
  • Develop and maintain relationship with key customers and partners
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sales strategies are integrated with overall business objectives.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecast to the management team
  • Monitor market trend and competitors’ activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Ensure that the sales team adheres to all relevant policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Admin. Marketing or related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles
  • Experience in Telecoms is an added advantage
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a sales team to achieve their targets
