Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Lagos
The Production Manager is responsible for leading the operation and maintenance staff, the daily management and coordination of factory operations while ensuring compliance with all labor, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations. This is a hands-on position that is responsible for maximizing daily production and has responsibility developing and maintaining a motivated staff and achieving production targets
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan production activities, production meetings, machine maintenance schedules, worker schedules and quality products
- Oversee the entire production workforce and ensure staff are constantly motivated to deliver desired output.
• Prepare delivery schedules and ensures agreed timelines for product delivery are met. - Ensure production staff always abide by the safety rules associated with the industry
- Liaise with Sales Department to make goods available at right quantity and sole quality.
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor production to resolve issues
Requirements:
- First Degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production management
- Proven experience in factory management
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
