Talent Source Nigeria Limited – Our client, a merchandising entity to Berger Paints Plc, a manufacturing company in Nigeria producing paints, surface coating and allied product for residential, commercial, marine ans industrial sectors. Our client has a partnership and right to distribute and sell its products across the globe.

Job Title: Sales Executive:

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are searching for a professional and proactive experienced Sales Executive with customer service experience, sales acumen and interpersonal relationship skills to work with their brand.

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for identifying, developing and managing new/existing business opportunities.
Develop and grow a trusted relationship with primary accounts, key stakeholders, and end users of the product.
Establish and maintain contacts with existing and potential clients such as Architects, Consultants, Contractors by using business directories, following leads from current clients, participating in industry related events.
Discuss and analyse clients requirements and prepare presentation proposals, detailed quotations and contracts.
Maintain a deep understanding of customers’ request and specification and determine technical needs.
Aggressively drive sales across selected regions.
Ensure that payment terms are adhered to by the client and ensure that all payments are received and all invoices are made as per payment schedule of the agreement.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices and sales trends.
Ensure the timely and successful delivering of products to the customer.
Document and track the progress of all accounts and opportunities,
Negotiate pricing agreements in accordance with internal guidelines.
Respond quickly to customer requests and maintain a professional demeanour when handling all matters.
Direct customers with regards to products, prices, availability, product use, and credit terms.
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to follow up, resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of retailers request throughout the sales period.
Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
Providing assistance to customers within the Paint Department

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field.
2+ years selling in the manufacturing industry, Paint Company, FMCG and similar industry.
Must be self-driven and can achieve goals while operating independently with little to no micro management.
Customer centric personality
A proven track record of forecasting and surpassing sales goals.
Sales enthusiast
Proficient at networking and maintaining effective professional relationships.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a charismatic personality.
Must be comfortable working as a team toward mutual business unit goals.

Travel Required:
Yes and must be a good driver with a driving licence

Salary & Benefits:
N120,000 to N150,000 / Monthly (Net)
