URGENT VACANCY
Position: HMO Officer with A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role is required
Salary: 130,000
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Responsible for the submission of a clean claim to the appropriate insurance. Responsible for timely follow-up with insurance denials, patients, and/or insurance inquiries. Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtaining any missing information. Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing. Calling insurance (RETAINER & HMO) companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary Reviewing accounts for HMO/RETAINER patients and appeal of claims denied. Following up on vetted claims as advised by the Team lead within the standard billing cycle timeframe Work with HMO OR RETAINER approval or authorizer unit for treatment updates. Prepare accurate sales summary and maintain suitable end-to-end tracking of issues pertaining to secondary services. Daily preparation of RETAINER & HMO bills in accordance with the agreed tariff.
