Location: Port Harcourt or Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all operational activities related to maritime operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity within the maritime sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and effective execution of operations.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and relevant industry organizations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of post-NYSC experience in the maritime, oil and gas, or related sectors.
Educational qualification in maritime or engineering is required. Holding a Masters in a related field will be an advantage.
Membership in professional associations related to the maritime industry is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of maritime operations, industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with relevant software and technology used in the maritime industry.
