Training and Development Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

Design and implement training programmes
Conduct on-the-job training for new hires
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programmes
Work with Line Managers to identify training needs and opportunities
Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees
Maintain accurate training records
Monitor and review the progress of trainees through appraisals, questionnaires and discussions with Line Managers and provide timely and constructive feedback
Plan and assess the ROI of any training or development programme
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and training techniques.
Requirements, Skills / Abilities

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, HND or OND qualification with at least 1 year work experience.
Proven experience in a similar training role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its operations
Ability to design and implement effective training programmes and SOP
Ability to lead a full training cycle
Excellent decision-making, strong organizational and time management skills
Good knowledge of talent management and succession planning methods
Experience in Hospitality and learning management software will be an added advantage.
