We are looking to recruit compassionate, self-driven and IT proficient people into Business Officers roles to support the delivery of critical Adult Social Care Services. Our Prevention and Early Intervention (P&EI) Services deliver multi-disciplinary, short-term social care interventions to help keep adults across Cambridgeshire living independently. Following service expansion, we are seeking Business Officers in P&EI to particularly support our Quality and Compliance, Reablement, Technology Enabled Care, Occupational Therapy and Enhanced Response services. We would really like to match the right applicants to multiple part-time and full-time opportunities.

We adopt a hybrid approach to work so, once trained, you will be able to work some of your days from home. Your office base will be determined on appointment, but we have locations in Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Ives, March and Ely. Successful applicants will be expected to travel across the county as required.

The salary for this position is currently NJC Scale 4 (£22,369 – £24,054 pro rata), though a pay rise is currently pending agreement for 2023-24. Opportunities for pay progression within this scale are performance-based.

What will you be doing?
Our Business Officers provide essential administrative support across Prevention and Early Intervention, working as part of dynamic and customer focused teams. Our work is varied and can be fast-paced, and your typical responsibilities may include:

Managing and processing phone calls and correspondence with service users, their relatives and health and social care professionals
Interpreting information and directing queries to appropriate teams/staff
Inputting into and maintaining multiple databases of sensitive information in compliance with GDPR
Managing office supplies and equipment inventories
Collaborating with staff across the service to support various projects and initiatives
Supporting onboarding of new team members
Taking minutes in operational team meetings
Supporting the of shaping processes across the service
