Job Description

The Business Strategy Manager sets the communication strategy for advertising campaigns, establishes the goals and objectives, target audience, message and tone in which the campaign should be delivered.
Job Responsibilities

Gain a comprehensive context for advertising strategies by analyzing a wide range of information in detail, including demographics, socio-economics and the market for the client’s product and market share.
Run qualitative research groups; using a variety of market research data to monitor cultural and social trends and their impact on consumers’ attitudes, behaviors, and perception.
Find an ‘angle’ on a specific product or service on which to base an advertising campaign.
Research the product or service to be advertised, which may involve gaining technical or specific knowledge
Develops innovative ways of channel management to optimize advertising spend in a way to better reach consumers.
Reconcile the differences between consumers’ current perception of the brand and the way the client wishes the brand to be perceived.
Liaise with clients to identify specific business problems and develop ideas
Provides the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience, and strategy
Present conclusions and ideas to clients and other agency staff.
Analyze and interpret customer response and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.
Job Requirements

Candidates should possess a B.Sc. Degree in relevant disciplines with 4 – 5 years core/progressive experience in Business Strategy and Account Planning.
Interest in and aptitude for creative business and marketing solutions.

Highly motivated, and has ability to build clients and expansion of client accounts
Ability to identify strategic needs, lead aspects of planning with sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners

Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
