Job Position: Quality Assurance Officer

Job Location: Gbagada, Lagos

Job Description

• A Quality Assurance is a professional who is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to correct or improve an organization’s final products in order to meet established quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

1. Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures
2. Performing routine inspections and quality tests
3. Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues
4. Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed
5. Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors
6. Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
7. Make recommendations for improvement
8. Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels
9. Developing and implementing standards for inspection
10. Developing a workflow for product inspection
11. Developing plans to help a company manage waste
12. Communicating with other team members to solve problems
13. Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found
14. Training other quality insurance members on all inspection processes

Job Requirements

1. Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 4 years work experience.
2. Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role
3. Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
4. Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
5. Good communication skills, both verbal and written
6. Excellent data collection and analysis skills
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist
