We are looking for a passionate PhD candidate in Thermal Energy Systems with strong programming, optimization, and dynamic analysis of energy systems. This position is partially on the Horizon Europe-funded project “TechUPGRADE” and partially on the Alliance PhD program-funded project “RESTUP” in partnership with TU/e Netherlands. You will be part of a very dedicated team with a senior project manager and several more PhD and postdoc researchers, focusing on cutting-edge and applied research to address the challenges of energy systems towards sustainability. Requirements You must have a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master’s degree – preferable an MSc. degree in thermal energy systems or similar, with strong skills in computer programming and optimization methods.How to apply Applications must be submitted as one PDF file containing all materials to be given consideration.
