Overview
We are looking to hire a Business Analyst who can effectively research and recommend ways that the business can operate better, with continuously improved performance and productivity levels. He/she will gather and analyze information to develop and investigate potential solutions – including improvements to systems and processes through efficient research, business process analysis and modelling.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for researching, reporting, formulating and implementing innovative analytic solutions and accelerators.
- Decompose, refine, and document requirements using appropriate graphical and textual techniques.
- Business process analysis and modelling, research, review, and analyse existing processes and develop strategies for enhancements.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Staying up to date on the on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of project
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience as a business or data analyst or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS)
- Strong analytical s`kills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse significant amounts of raw data and draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to troubleshoot data and high attention to details.
- Excellent command of English and communication skills.
