Job Position: Graduate Medical Laboratory Scientist
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job Description
- To perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations
- To prepare specimens, samples and reagents
- To operate and ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment
- To participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls and assessment
- To ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
- To promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present for approval.
- To ensure safety of all data records generated in the laboratory
- To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time improve quality and reliability of processes and results
- To ensure and adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks.
- Involved with scientific meetings in the organization
Job Requirements
- BSc Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- 1 – 3 years post-NYSC work experience
- Excellent knowledge of anatomic pathology
- Able to pay attention to details
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Team player.
