Qualifications and Requirements
The candidate aspiring for the post of Medical Director in the hospital must fulfill the under listed criteria:
- Must be a Medical Doctor who is medically qualified and registered for a period of not less than twelve (12) years and a Consultant in any specialty (Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery will be an added advantage) for at least five (5) years with evidence of a current registration with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria.
- Must have a post-graduate qualification in a specialty that is duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Must show evidence of high level managerial and executive capacity in the administration of a tertiary medical institution.
- Should have attained professional and academic standing that must be sufficiently high to command national and international respect particularly in their specialty such that it would enhance the good reputation already established for the hospital.
- Must be a person of courage who can take decisions on the basis of merit facts and principles and not on the basis of pressures of individuals or group, he/she must also be of impeccable character and unassailable integrity.
- Must possess skills that can attract capital investment from the private/public sector and further enhance the execution of the mandate of the hospital.
- Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is compulsory.
- Evidence of Medical Researches is an added advantage.

- Candidates must be highly motivated team players willing to go the extra mile.
- They must possess excelleny communication (Written, spoken and presentation)
- Interpersonal Skills and Computer knowledge is a MUST
