Description
The CRYSTALLINE program, hosted at Silicon Austria Labs, is offering 9 Ph.D. positions in Electronic-Based Systems (EBS) research. The program, co-funded by the MSCA-COFUND action, aims to train early-stage researchers (ESRs) over a 60-month duration, with the expectation of completing their Ph.D. within 48 months. The first call for applications is open until 29 March 2024.
The program aims to improve the impact of Electronic-Based Systems research at the highest level of scientific excellence. ESRs will become part of the SAL network, benefitting from academic excellence and industrial entrepreneurship. Focus areas include AI in embedded systems, wireless communication, radar technologies, MEMS, sensor systems, and power electronics.

Eligibility: Applicants must:
- Hold a Master’s degree in relevant areas.
- Have a background in machine learning.
- Possess strong programming skills.
- Demonstrate excellent English skills.
- Be able to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
- Background in video processing, deep learning, or wireless communications is advantageous
