The Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences, invites applications for a full-time PhD position in the EU-founded project PollinERA. This 48-month position, starting from March 2024, aims to understand pesticide-pollinator interactions to support EU Environmental Risk Assessment and policy.

The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Agnieszka Bednarska (prof. INC PAS) and contribute to the PollinERA project. The research will focus on pesticide-pollinator interactions, supporting EU Environmental Risk Assessment and policy development. The scholarship includes a tax-free monthly stipend of 6600 PLN for 48 months, covering living expenses in Poland. The project will also fund business trips and offers additional bonuses and opportunities for research projects.

Qualification:

  • Highly motivated and creative candidate
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong capacity for research in ecology, ecotoxicology, physiological ecology, or landscape ecology
  • Willingness to contribute to the PollinERA project
