Successful candidates will undertake a four-year, full-time funded PhD program, dedicating three-quarters of their time to research and one-quarter to teaching. They will receive a competitive salary and stipend package, with all fees covered. Training will be provided to develop teaching and pedagogical skills, while access to MSc courses and bespoke training will support professional development as researchers. The teaching workload will not exceed 20 hours per week during the academic year.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a First or Upper Second Class degree in Computer Science, Mathematical Science, Meteorology, Physics, or closely related fields. They must demonstrate effective time management skills to balance PhD studies with GTA responsibilities, exhibit scholarship in their area of expertise, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior teaching experience is not required.
