This scholarship offers the opportunity to conduct independent research in software performance engineering, focusing on benchmarking and predicting software performance using AI techniques. The successful candidate will be part of the Division of Interaction Design and Software Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, funded by the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems, and Software Program (WASP).
The PhD position is based at the Division of Interaction Design and Software Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. The successful applicant will be enrolled in the PhD program for Computer Science and Engineering for a duration of 5 years. The research will focus on software performance benchmarking and prediction using AI techniques. The candidate will contribute to ongoing research projects, write academic articles, and fulfill departmental duties as a teaching assistant.
Eligibility
Candidates must have a second-cycle qualification with relevant background, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English. Prior research experience or industrial exposure is advantageous.
