We are currently looking to fill the role of an ACCOUNT OFFICER for our client in the Automobile industry in Lagos.
Responsibilities
• Manage the financial bookkeeping of the organization, processes invoices, records payments, and track expenses.
• Ensure all bill is sent customers; processes refunds; interacts with collection agencies on past-due accounts; and, works to resolve billing disputes.
• Vendor/supplier payments
• Importations & duty payments
• Gl reconciliations and bank reconciliations
• Statutory payments
• Preparation of monthly staff salaries payment
• Utility disbursement
• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in accounting.
• Work experience as an Account Officer
• 4+ years’ experience with relevant certifications.
• ICAN/ACCA certification is a plus
• Expert in MS Office suite
• Advanced literacy and numeracy
• Understanding of IFS
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• A team player with high level of dedication
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
