Job Description
- A Back-end Developer will be responsible for the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power the Lodge Compliance web and mobile applications.
- Working closely with the front-end development team, and contributing to the creation of seamless, high-performance applications and the deployment of new features.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application functionality and performance.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for back-end systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize and scale applications for maximum performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with other team members to define project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.#
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with web application architecture and RESTful API design.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
