About the role
The Fostering Service require a Full Time Business Officer to predominantly support and complete Foster Panel Administration Tasks on a Fixed Term basis until August 2024. In addition to supporting and completing Foster Panel Administration Tasks, you will be required to support other functions within the Fostering Service.

There will be a mixture of office & home working for this role.

The position will be based in Huntingdon.

Interviews will be held in St Ives week commencing the 14th August 2023.

What will you be doing?
You will be preparing Documentation in preparation for Foster Panel, taking detailed and concise minutes at our Foster Panel’s, sending documentation out to our Foster Carers and completing tasks on our In House Recording System.

You may be asked to support other functions within the Fostering Service, such as requesting and collating references as part of the Recruitment and Assessment of our Foster Carers, preparing documentation and sending out feedback requests to professionals and foster carers/children to gain feedback in preparation for our Foster Carers Reviews, processing invoices and assisting with the uploading of paperwork to our In House Recording System.

About you
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work, as this is a varied role. You will need good administration skills and the ability to prioritise as this is a fast paced role with short statutory deadlines. Experience in Minute Taking would be desirable but training can be provided.

You will be expected to work on your own initiative, keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines. You should have a methodical and concise approach to tasks and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. You will need a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft packages (Word and Excel) and be able to use databases and in house software.
