One of our clients that is an indigenous Oil and Gas company located in Lekki Lagos, Nigeria needs a suitable candidate for the post of CFO (Chief Financial Officer):

Requirements
§ Strong Financial background, with experience in accounting, finance, and business operations.
§ Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management, stakeholders, and the board.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modeling and analysis.
§ Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, with an understanding of its financial and operational challenges and opportunities.
§ Strong technical skills, with proficiency in financial systems, software, and data analysis.
§ A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree being a plus.
§ Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA,CPA,CFA or CMA are also beneficial.
§ A track record of delivering results, with a history of managing budgets, meeting financial targets, and leading successful financial initiatives.

Developing and implementing financial strategies.
Overseeing financial reporting and tax compliance.
Managing risk and ensuring financial stability.
Developing and managing budgets.
Raising capital and securing funding.
Negotiating contracts and agreements.
Investment analysis and management.
Managing financial operations and ensuring cost efficiency.
Providing financial analysis and support for decision making.
Overseeing M & A and divestiture activities.
Developing and maintaining relationships with banks, investors and other stakeholders.
Risk management.
Treasury and cash management.
