We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chief Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy and lead our team of dedicated pharmacy professionals. As the Chief Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Manage and lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, reviewing prescriptions for appropriateness and providing counseling to patients.
Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to optimize workflow efficiency and maintain a safe and organized environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive medication therapy management.
Monitor inventory levels, order medications and supplies, and maintain proper storage conditions.
Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmaceuticals, drug therapies, and relevant regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy .
Valid pharmacist license.
Proven experience as a pharmacist, preferably with some managerial or leadership experience.
In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
