Each Classic City Scholar will be awarded a Presidential waiver of the differential between the Georgia resident and non-resident tuition and fees.
Eligibility
The student must achieve the required academic criteria to renew the scholarship and the value of the scholarship will be modified if the differential between the resident and non-resident tuition and fees increases. Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.
Benefits
The scholarship will have a minimum value of $19,040 per year. It is renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) of enrollment or until the student receives their undergraduate degree, whichever occurs first.
Application
All scholarships awarded by the Undergraduate Admissions office are renewable for eight semesters of full-time enrollment, or the completion of a Bachelor’s degree. To renew the scholarship each year, students must maintain specific academic requirements which are detailed in the award letter.
