- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
Skills/Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years work experience as Content Portal Administrator.
- Proven experience in Content Testing or Quality Assurance.
- Highly device-savvy and very comfortable working with mobile phones and apps on mobile phones.
- Highly digital-content savvy and enthusiastic in consuming digital content on mobile phones.
- Strong understanding of Content Portal technologies and content management systems, specific to telecommunications services.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional telecom teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify content discrepancies.
- Familiarity with relevant testing tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure conformity of content pages to the predefined standard before deployment.
- Test products and applications release, and patch deployment.
- Daily execution of test cases, recording of results and progress report.
- Ensure the update of user agents for old device models on the portal.
- Ensure all test devices and data are available for testing.
- Carry out compatibility testing of all services on test devices.
- Pilot Device Simulation testing.
- Perform execution of test cases according to the test schedule and escalate if deviations are foreseen or occur.
- Coordinate portal or App quality testing to discover errors and optimize usability.
- Injection of contents in AppPlus portal.
- Manage and Upload content for AppPlus service to ensure topmost quality of content uploaded on the portal.
- Routine Portal Audit.
- Timely response to escalated issues involving the Test Team.
