Controls Engineer (Automotive) – DCP
The candidate will be responsible for the development of PLC, Interfaces and all related controls to clients standards for all upper body inner zones.
NOTE : TIER 2 SPONSORSHIP CAN BE PROVIDED FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE
Roles & Responsibilities
· PLC/SCADA Software development Allen Bradley for DCP on JLR projects.
· Creating formal documentation for software related tasks (DCP Programming / Code Checkers, Progress Reports, Testing schedules, safety buy offs, validation, SPL’s etc..).
· Adherence to software standards IP Address allocations safety equipment programming (Including commodity supplier and buy off).
· Programming and development of HMI’s applications in line with standards.
· Fault finding and resolution including supporting the panel process.
· Commissioning of required additional equipment over base program requirements PLC scheduling / data transfer PLC – PLC as and where required.
· Mapping of data between robot and PLC.
· Production support on site.
Skills Required
· 3+ Yeas experience required or JLR DCP standards.
· Rockwell guard logix trained.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in DCP programming and commissioning working to DCP specifications.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in an automotive environment.
· Willing to relocate based on projects
