The KIN Center for Digital Innovation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites applications for three PhD positions and a Postdoc focusing on how emerging technologies such as AI, robots, and immersive technologies are shaping work, professions, and organizations. The PhD positions and Postdoc opportunity at KIN Center for Digital Innovation focus on studying the impact of emerging technologies on work activities, spaces, professions, and organizational practices. Successful candidates will engage in theoretical and empirical research to understand the sociotechnical construction of these technologies, their deployment in organizations, and the role of management in their implementation. The research will involve ethnographic fieldwork and collaboration with industry partners.
Eligibility
- Motivated to conduct high-quality research
- Excellent communication and academic writing skills
- Proficiency in English; Dutch proficiency preferred
- Research Master or MSc in relevant fields
- Expertise in qualitative research methods
