Description
The Sino-German International Research Training Group AMAIZE-P, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), is seeking candidates for 13 doctoral researcher (PhD student) positions and 1 postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Hohenheim. The research focuses on “Adaptation of maize-based food-feed-energy systems to limited phosphate resources” and involves collaboration with the China Agricultural University.
Successful candidates will work on various research subjects related to maize-based systems and phosphate resource limitations. Positions are available in genetic potential of maize, management at field and farm level, nutrition and recovery, and economic evaluation and synthesis. Each position offers an opportunity for interdisciplinary research and collaboration with international partners.
Qualification:
- Candidates with above-average graded master’s degrees or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong English language skills (corresponding to TOEFL ibt 90 or IELTS grade 6.5).
- Preference for candidates with disabilities, with equal qualifications.
