Join the vibrant community of the Department of Biomedicine, a collaborative effort between the University of Basel and the University Hospitals Basel. The department integrates basic and clinical research to advance our understanding of health and disease, striving to pioneer therapies for areas of unmet medical need. The Skin Biology Laboratory, led by Prof. A. Navarini, is seeking a motivated PhD student to contribute to the study of mechanisms underlying chronic skin diseases using an innovative human epidermal organoid model.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in Cell/Molecular Biology
- Strong commitment to research
- Previous experience in 3D cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and microscopy
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
