Employee Engagement & Communications Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications plan to keep employees informed of company initiatives, platform changes, and product updates.
Proactively obtain input from heads of departments and leadership team on upcoming initiatives and updates
Create and deliver interactive and engaging communications, trainings, and other creative materials to drive buy-in and adoption
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing/PR and leadership, to ensure messaging is consistent and aligned with company objectives and values.
Monitor and report on employee engagement metrics and proactively implement strategies to increase engagement.
Work closely with the people team to ensure that employee benefits, policies, and procedures are effectively communicated to existing employees and new hires.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to new features and initiatives and provide feedback to the relevant teams.
Continuously improve communication strategies by soliciting feedback and analyzing engagement metrics.


Key Performance Indicators:
Employee adoption rate of new processes, initiatives, and product features within set time periods.
Employee satisfaction with and clarity on internal processes, as measured by feedback surveys.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, HR, or related field preferred.

1-2 years of experience in employee communications, marketing, or related field within a high-growth product-led environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of product and software development lifecycles.
Ability to develop and deliver creative and engaging presentations and training materials on a range of topics.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to gather information and provide updates.
Strong analytical skills and ability to proactively track and analyze data to refine communications approaches and report on effectiveness.
Experience with internal communication tools such as Slack, newsletters, knowledge management systems, etc.
Experience with graphic design tools is a plus.
