Job Description

This role is exciting, positively challenging and will provide growth to the prospective role holder.
The ideal role holder is a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant who will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and providing accurate financial information to support the organization’s operations.
He/she must be competent in Management Accounting functions and will be required to provide accounting & financial management services to the organization as well as ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Most importantly, in line with our standard, he/she should be committed, hard-working and particular about delivering quality work.
Job Responsibilities

Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
Review and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
Ensuring compliance with regulations pertaining to consumption tax, WHT, VAT and PAYE
Pursuing overdue payments, documenting uncollectible debts, and vigilantly monitoring the cash flow.
Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments.
Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS).
Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget.
Assist in the coordination of external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensure financial statements are prepared in line with regulatory standards
Identify trends, advice and recommend actions based on sound analysis
Ensure compliance with best practice and legal requirements
Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements

Educational background in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field
2+ years of hands-on Finance experience
A member of a professional body e.g. ACA,ACCA, CFA (Part or Fully Qualified)
Proven knowledge in financial reporting, internal auditing, financial analysis & management, financial software, Microsoft suite and statistical analysis package
Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills
Highly confidential with good integrity
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and result-oriented environment
Ability to work in a team and multitask
Client relationship and engagement skills
Tech savvy; good use of collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar.

Interview Process
Preliminary Chat:

If we believe you are a good fit based on your application, we will schedule a 30 – 45 minutes chat with you, our Recruitment Associate and Hiring Manager. This is basically a get-to-know-you chat for us to hear about you experiences and to confirm that the role is a good fit for you, as well as if you are a good fit for us.
Recruitment Exercise:

Thereafter, a recruitment exercise will be sent to you to further assess your technical competence for the role.
Second Interview:

If we find your performance in the exercise satisfactory, you will meet with one of our Principal Consultant for a technical chat – relating to the role and the recruitment exercise.
Final Interview:

At this stage, we will schedule a final interview with you to meet with our client for a final assessment and to discuss expectations of both parties
We will ensure to give you an update within a week after each stage.
