Hospitality Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and professional hospitality manager to join our team. As a hospitality manager, your duties will be to organize the daily operations of the chalet, follow the company’s policies and procedures, maintain the standards of quality of the services provided and recruit/train staff in collaboration with senior management.
Job Description
- Planning, organizing and managing the daily operations of the hospitality division to ensure efficiency.
- Preparing the monthly budget of the hospitality division and creating expenditure reports for senior management review.
- Determining the future goals of the hospitality division for studying market trends and working with the marketing unit.
- Maintain excellent customer relations with the guests.
- Attending to any complaint lodged by guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Creating schedules, supervising staff members and communicating the importance of customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service according to company operating procedures.
- Performing monthly evaluations of staff members according to performance and participation.
- Enforcing the dress code and reprimanding employees for not performing their job duties accurately.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business management, or any relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience working in the hospitality industry.
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant software.
• Solid knowledge of customer service and the ability to resolve conflict calmly and professionally.
• Working experience in sales/marketing.
• Excellent managerial skills and ability to lead, motivate and communicate with staff members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail
• Resident along Idimu/Ikotun axis is preferred.
• No family ties within any member of staff.
• Should be able to work shift based and on weekends.
