Job Description
Our client is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced QHSE Manager who will develop, direct and manage the factory function through managing the Quality Systems, Food / Health / Environment Safety functions, reporting to the CEO.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for system quality to ensure all products and procedures are compliance with internal and external standards
Liaise with ISO approval authority for company audits
Manage factory inspectors
Write quality procedures
Implement the QHSE policies and procedures in the site
Conduct investigation on all health related injuries, including trending, analysis and preventive measures
Audit & control general factory conditions QHSE
Guide and audit the company regarding food defense and food security
Oversee QHSE team regarding any material, process, or even product that has an environmental impact
Develop and maintain quality specifications
Continuous improvement of productivity, efficiency and consequently cost/unit, and to implement continuous improvement in plant.
Ensure high quality within the manufacturing process
Safety behavior improvement / quality awareness
Play a lead role in projects related to expansion of production of scale or scope and selection of equipment etc.
Job Requirements
Must have University Degree in Engineering / Food Science, MBA is advantageous
Minimum of 4 years of experience as Factory Head of QHSE in the FMCG industry
Deep understanding of the performance measures and process improvement initiatives
Solid understanding of manufacturing process quality processers and parameters
Full and qualified understanding of Lean/ Six Sigma Manufacturing methodologies
Excellent analytical, logical and problem solving skills
Motivation, aptitude and accuracy for working with computers and figures
Superior level communication and interpersonal skills
Preference will be given to Arab or European candidates.
Salary
N300,000 – N450,000 / month.
