Job Position: Human Resources Advisory Officer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Brief
As a Human Resources Advisory Officer, you will be responsible for giving counsel to companies regarding their human resource policies and procedures.
You would be offering guidance on employee recruitment and retention, evaluating employee performance, and maintaining employee relations.
Job Responsibilities
Providing guidance and support in relation to recruitment, discipline and grievance, performance management, organizational change, training, and development.
Conducting job evaluations.
Monitoring recruitment metrics such as retention rates and staff turnover.
Discussing terms and conditions of employment and benefits with staff members.
Reviewing employees’ work progress using an employee appraisal system and making recommendations, if necessary.
Advising on staff development.
Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management.
Training and advising managers on strategies for recruitment, selection, and interview evaluation procedures.
Participating in the appointment process for potential employees.
Updating HR policies in line with current legislation and informing staff about changes.
Job Requirements
Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc / M.Sc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Must have 2-4 years of proven work experience in HR Advisory.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at different levels, including senior staff members.
The ability to research, analyze, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
Updated knowledge of recruitment strategies and employment legislation.
Excellent writing ability to present clear and equitable company policies.
Proven leadership ability.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Working knowledge of HR systems and software.
The ability to develop trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders.
