Job Description
Develops, implements and monitors inventory control policies, procedures and systems
Plans and supervise warehouse activities to ensure proper inventory movement, inventory turns, cash flow and margins
Establish stocking strategies with Sales and Manufacturing Unit leaders
Manage supply chain and vendors on product delivery expectations, transportation pricing opportunities and re-stocking and product return
Collaborate with purchasing, customer service, accounting and production management for retail services, inventory control shipping etc.
Sign off on all LTL and FTL freight invoices
Coordinates/advises staff on day to day shipping/receiving deliveries etc.
Inventory control through a variety of applications/processes; status meetings; spreadsheets, MAS etc.
Auditing/spot checking daily of purchase orders, incoming/outgoing shipments and following up on production discrepancies with the Cost Accountant, Director of Plant Operations etc. as appropriate.
Create, distribute and manage inventory reports essential to accounting and production
Execute physical inventory; spot, cycle, quarterly and annual on finished goods and raw materials
Qualify freight brokers for FTL and Lane Bids,
Manage and advise on, surplus, obsolete and quarantined inventory
Sign off on HAZMAT Bill of Ladings
Ensures staff is properly trained on operations, expectations and procedures for their positions
May lead and organize special projects related to Inventory over other business units.
Participate actively on cross functional business related meetings: BOM review board, weekly production meetings etc.
Supervision of assigned staff

Requirements
1-2years working Experience
BSc/HND in accounting is a must
Excellent understanding of inventory control principles & practices.
Proficient in MS Office/Google workplace.
