Job Description
Our client is the subsidiary of a conglomerate that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of Alcoholic drinks, Beverages, Liquors, Wine and Spirit products.
Compensation: Base Pay of NGN 62,000.00 monthly net.
Work Schedule: Full Time, Shift Role.
The company is looking to hire an experienced machine operator who will be responsible for operating the machines at rated speeds and desired efficiency while observing machine and people safety.
The Ideal candidates will conduct daily machine maintenance and maintain good manufacturing practices during shifts.
Key Responsibilities
· Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance.
· Ensure that all safety standards applicable on the machines are adhered to during the shift.
· Conduct weekly and periodic maintenance of the machine.
· Ensure that high level of ownership is displayed during and after shift
· Ensure daily production volume targets are met by eliminating controllable operational downtimes at all times
· Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
· Supervising the maintenance of production and electrical equipment
· Maintain the facilities maintenance schedule
· Perform and supervise maintenance-related repairs
· Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation of the facility
· Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
· Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
· Review daily work orders and provide reports
· Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
· Lead, train and supervise maintenance workers
Requirements
· Minimum of O.N.D in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related course.
· 0-1 years of work experience
· Good at Technical knowledge and Troubleshooting skill
· Ability to follow instructions and production schedule.
· Knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards.
· Ability to work in good relationship with other team members.
· Good decision making and ability to act quickly when problem arise.
· Troubleshooting / problem solving skills and attention to details.
· Good reporting and communication skills.
· Good concentration and work discipline.
· Documentation and organization skills.
· Full understanding of customers’ expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.
