Job description includes:
1.Receiving and inspecting incoming goods and verifying them with purchase orders
- Organizing and cataloging inventory in a systematic manner for easy accessibility
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory and stock levels
- Monitoring stock levels to ensure that popular items are in stock and unpopular items are not overstocked
- Issuing stock as appropriate and ensuring that the inventory remains organized
- Managing the disposal of expired or damaged goods in compliance with company policies
- Conducting regular inventory audits to identify variances and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinating with suppliers to order new stock as required
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimizing inventory management processes
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to forecast future demand and ensure that stock levels match market conditions.
In summary, a store keeper is responsible for maintaining an efficient and organized inventor.
