The research focuses on the utilization of underexploited biomass feedstocks for sustainable and high-quality fiber extraction, with an emphasis on establishing innovative processes for optimal biomass refining and fibrillation to nanoscale.
Eligibility:
Applicants should be outstanding experimental physicists or physical chemists with an MSc or equivalent degree. Less than 4 years of full-time research experience and no doctoral degree are prerequisites. Proficiency in material science, soft condensed matter physics, colloids, and mechanical properties of soft materials is essential. Candidates with expertise in characterization methods, mechanical characterization, and light scattering techniques are preferred. Modelling skills using Phyton and Matlab are advantageous. Fluency in English (IELTS min. 7 or TOEFL internet-based min. 90) is required.
