Description
The Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP) at the Faculty of Science and Engineering is offering a fully funded PhD position in the department of molecular pharmacology. The research, funded by a collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim, focuses on studying idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and developing new therapeutic strategies targeting the WNT pathway.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related area.
- Affinity with advanced techniques in cell biology and organoid technology.
- Previous experience in in vitro cell culture, molecular and cell biology, and cellular imaging.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Enthusiasm for pharmaceutical research in an interdisciplinary setting.
