The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France, is seeking a dynamic Postdoctoral Fellow (F/M) to join the Structure of Materials group, specifically working on the Materials Science beamline ID11. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in materials science, utilizing high-energy X-ray diffraction and imaging methods. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their own research project, leveraging the exceptional capabilities of the ID11 beamline.
Requirements
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline obtained in the last 3 years.
- Previous research experience with high-energy X-ray diffraction and/or imaging.
- Experience with instrumentation and sample environments would be an asset.
- Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary staff and facility users in English (working language at the ESRF).
