To support the Developer team to build applications needed by the elevation church.
Key Deliverables
Designing and developing software systems using PHP Laravel Framework. The following projects to be completed and moved to maintenance mode
Global Ministry Application: Phase 1 and 2
Website Revamp Project (All Global and Expressions page and ministry subpages)..
Data Dashboard Page
Performs maintenance tasks like updates, testing and validating of the following existing projects
Small Group Sign-Up Application (Members facing)
Exponential Conference Page
TEC Mobile App (Webbook Deployment)
Directing system testing and validation procedures
Directing software programming and documentation development.
Analysing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.
Skills and Knowledge
Intermediate knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel,
Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
Understanding of MVC design patterns
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
Intermediate understanding of Web Books and API creation and integration.
Understanding accessibility and security compliance
Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
