Job Role: Sales Strategy and Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
- Provides direction and leadership to the teams under the scope of responsibility.
- Analyzes sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
- Reviews individual and team performance and provides constructive feedback.
- Manages and coordinates all sales activities and programs including.
- Contributes to the strategic discussion around buyer personas, target markets, etc. Recommends sales methodologies that Pivot should consider and employ.
- Manages sales process adoption and compliance.
- Maintains up‐to‐date knowledge of the current CRM program and works with the sales team to keep information current.
- Coordinates and manages targeted vertical market sales programs (i.e., Technology, Education, GSA, Healthcare, etc.).
- Coordinates and manages top opportunity meetings and content.
- Supports all business development and lead generation efforts.
- Research and gathers content/messaging to support sales efforts.
- Investigates/evaluates tools that push recommended scripts, guidance, emails, and other content to salespeople based on where a prospect is in the sales process.
- Assists sales leadership in tracking organizational participation throughout the company (i.e., IFMA, IIDA, etc.). Tracks membership dues as well as sponsorship costs.
- Maintains an up‐to‐date understanding of all marketing tools and programs available from Herman Miller and other primary vendors.
- Compiles and produces sales reports as needed.
- Coordinates and manages sales meeting agenda as defined by sales leadership.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of sales forecasting software.
- Possesses knowledge of the industry or market in which he or she is conducting analyses.
- Exhibits ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group.
- Possesses strong math skills.
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicates clearly and effectively.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Manages time efficiently.
Job Specifications:
- Degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or other related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have worked in the FMCG sector.
